Crock Pot Cook Off
We are hosting our annual crock pot cook off on April 5th from 6-9pm at the Bovina Town Hall. All are welcome to join, taste, and vote! Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door. A ticket gets you access to 20+ crockpot dishes, a vote in the competition, access to an incredible raffle, and a night of community fun. Raffle tickets will be sold at an additional cost at the event!
This is the Historical Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year and 2025 proceeds will go to updating the Bovina Museum.
If you are interested in participating as a contestant you can fill out this short form
or email Hannah at HannahRLeighton@gmail.com with the type of dish you plan to make (meat entree, veg entree, side, or dessert). Anyone under 16 can enter a special kid's dessert category. The only rule is that it has to be cooked and served in a crockpot. Non-Bovinians are welcome to participate. Please feel free to pass the form along to anyone you think might be interested. Contestants are asked to arrive at 5:30.
We are also looking for raffle items. If you have something you'd like to donate you can also fill out the above form or email Briana at bkriera@gmail.com. This could be something tangible (e.g., homemade bird house, skin care products.) or a service (e.g., photoshoot, private yoga class).
